Bio

Izzy Thomas is a Cleveland, OH based artist who specializes in drawing. Her work, made with colored pencil, watercolor and collage material on paper, combines modern day consumer culture with themes and motifs based on greed and temporality pulled from the art historical canon.

Thomas has a BFA in Drawing at the Cleveland Institute of Art. Her work has been exhibited in the Norman Roulet Student + Alumni Gallery, Pinwheel Gallery, and the Reinberger Gallery in Cleveland, Ohio as well as Brecksville, Ohio in the Feverdream Curation Program, Gallery 202 at 78th Street Studios, New York, New York, at the New York Academy of Art, Kansas City, Missouri, at PLUG Gallery, Mexico City, Mexico at Casa Lü Sur, and in Florence, Italy at the Santa Reparata International School of Art. Her honors include the Joseph and Algesa O’Sickey Scholarship and the Nancy Dunn President's Traveling Scholarship. She currently resides in Cleveland, Ohio.
